NFC Sports opens Equipment and Apparel Division    NFC Sports opened a new division in May of this year and began servicing the uniform needs of teams, cheerleading, dance, and drill team participants. We can also handle any of your business uniform needs as well. Most recently, we provided the shirt, golf towels, and various other apparel items for the Wylie Chamber of Commerce golf tournament held at Woodbridge Coutry Club. The tournament was a success and the apparel looked great! Heading up this division for NFC Sports is Mike De La Cruz. Mike joins us after running his own successful sports and apparel shop in the Murphy area. NFC Sports acquires KRS III Sports Agency   NFC Sports is proud to announce the NFC Sports Management Division. Earlier this year we completed our acquisition of KRS III Sports and Entertainment Management Group, Inc. This new division will focus on assisting, representing, and managing athletes bound for the professional ranks and will continue the tradition of excellence began by KRS III. Leading this division for NFC Sports is Robert Sheets, founder of KRS III and our new Vice President of the division. Robert brings over 15 years of experience as a sports agent, having represented over 20 professional athletes in MLB, the NFL, and other professioal sports leagues. As a certified sports agent with the three major professional leagues (NFL, MLB, NBA) and also the PGA, NFC Sports Management Division is well on its way to building a core group of professional athletes. Rick Woodson joins NFC Sports   Rick Woodson, former PGA/Nationwide Tour and Canadian Tour member has joined NFC Sports as our Director of Golf Instruction. He is a current PGA Class A Member. Rick competed professionally for ten years, notching over 9 professional victories, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his students. Recognized for his ability to teach golfers of every skill level, Rick is a great additionto the NFC Sports team. Anton W. Mattli joins the NFC Sports team.    Anton W. Mattli, principal at Peak Advisory Group brings significant real estate development and business management expertise to NFC Sports. Swiss-born Mattli has been engaged in commercial real estate investing and financing for more than 20 years. Locally, Peak Advisory Group represents the interests of the majority equity investor in the Azure (www.azureliving.com), a 31-story condominum tower in Uptown Dallas.

nfcsports.com re-launched!   A new, professionally designed web site was introduced to make finding out more about NFC Sports much easier. Please send us feedback on our web site and let us know how we can make it even better.

Kimley-Horn joins the NFC Sports team.    Civil Engineers Kimley-Horn bring many years of successful experience to the NFC Sports team. Voted one of the 100 best places to work in 2005 and 2006, they will begin immediately planning our site in preparation for an August 2006 ground breaking.

Initial Private Placement opens.   The first opportunity for outside investors to take part in the NFC Sports project opened in May and will continue until June 30th. This initial private placement investment opportunity is targeted for accredited investors only. An accredited investor has assets in excess of one million dollars or has had income exceeding $200,000 for the previous two years. Vortex Construction joins the NFC Sports team.   Known for their expertise in project management and risk reduction, Vortex Construction has been retained to act as project manager for the construction of our one hundred fifty-one acre indoor/outdoor sports complex. Vortex Construction will participate in the selection of our General Contractor(s) and will oversee all construction activities on behalf of NFC Sports, Inc.

Ken Burge joins NFC Sports.    After 8 1/2 years at Microsoft Corporation, Ken Burge joins the NFC Sports team as Chief Information Officer. Ken will oversee all technology infrastructure, software, and processes. Ken brings over sixteen years of information technology experience to NFC Sports in the areas of large scale database design, software development and project management. Prior to joining NFC Sports, Ken worked at Microsoft Corporation, Electronic Data Systems and Texas Instruments in positions ranging from systems engineer, technical evangelist, solutions architect, sales lead, and project manager.

nfcsports.com is launched to the public.    The first version of our web site contained little more than a brief blurb about who we are and had just enough information to get you interested in our project. It must have worked, many of you contacted us despite the lack of a completed web site. Thank you!

Hammers + Partners joins the NFC Sports team.   Nationally recognized architects and designers, Hammers + Partners are lending their expertise to our project and will be the architect of record. Known for excellence in design and architecture, they will partner with design architect Elam and Associates and be responsible for helping design our facilities and grounds.

September 2005
Elam and Associates joins the NFC Sports team.    Award winning design architect firm Elam and Associates has joined the NFC Sports team and will oversee the design of our new 300,000 sq. ft. indoor sports complex.

Herzog Development Corporation joins the NFC Sports team. Don Herzog and team joins with NFC Sports to bring a new state of the art sports complex to the Wylie/Sachse/Murphy area. Herzog is acting as coordinator between the 68 acre retail facility, the 12 acre retirement complex, and the 151 acre NFC Sports Complex.
